Wilfred “Wil” O. Brennan – Candidate for Village President of Brookfield Wilfred “Wil”O. Brennan Wil was born in Brookfield on Fairview Ave. He has lived in Brookfield for virtually his entire life; his grandparents built a home in Brookfield in 1902. Wil and his wife Linda reside in Hollywood and have been there for 20 years. He is currently retired and has been an I.B.E.W. member for 47 years. Wil has been a Union official and an instructor at Washburn Trade School and West Side Technical Institute. He has been certified by the Chicago Board of Education as a teacher. Educational background includes St Barbara’s in Brookfield, RBHS High School, Washburn Trade School, Governors State University, University of Illinois, Chicago State University and other numerous seminars and training experiences. Wil served as a Brookfield Village Trustee (2001- 2005) and has been liaison to the Public Works Dept., The Zoning Board of Appeals and the Finance Department. He has also been a member of The Brookfield Board of Local Improvements and The Infrastructure Committee. Current member of the Brookfield VFW Post # 2868 Men’s Auxiliary. |
